Call goes out for parade participants

It’s never too early to plan a parade, and the Nanaimo Empire Days Celebration Society invites  floats, bands and organizations to register now to be a part the 146th annual Empire Day Parade.

This year’s parade will be held May 19 with a theme of We are the World, a salute to Nanaimo’s local cultures.

For parade entry forms and information, please go to the society’s website, www.nanaimoempiredays.com, or e-mail dianalilley@telus.net.
