Nominations sought for Order of B.C.
A provincial awards program is seeking people who lead by example and demonstrate outstanding achievement, excellence or distinction in any field.
Nominations are being accepted for the 2013 Order of B.C. – the province’s highest award. This program allows residents to take part in the public recognition of their peers – since 1990, 331 British Columbians from all walks of life and many regions of the province have received the Order of B.C.
Nominations must be submitted by March 1 to be considered this year. An independent advisory council, chaired by the chief justice of B.C., will consider nominations.
For more information or to nominate someone, please go to www.orderofbc.gov.bc.ca.
