Bottle drive helps save Nanaimo River

Nanaimo and Area Land Trust is helping people get rid of their holiday returnables with a Bottles for the River drive Saturday (Jan. 5) from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the parking lot at the NALT office, 8-140 Wallace St.

Proceeds go toward stewardship activities in the Nanaimo River watershed.
