Deanne Lazaruk, a member of the Nanaimo Mountain Bike Club, and A.J. Strawson, of the International Mountain Bicycling Association Canada’s Trail Care Crew, dig part of a new bike trail at Westwood Lake Dec. 8 as part of a free trail building school. More than 30 participants built 130 metres of single track trail at the park during the field portion of the course.
