Tree chipping helps build playground

Park Avenue Elementary School hopes to be a step closer to a new playground following a bottle/tree chipping drive Jan. 5.

Volunteers will be accepting bottles and cans and chipping Christmas trees – courtesy of Davey Tree Services – from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the parking lot of the Country Grocer, 1399 Lawlor Rd., in Chase River.
