Dinner served for city’s youth
Nanaimo Youth Services Association is celebrating the season of giving by hosting a turkey and ham dinner for youth in the community.
The association’s 18th annual Youth Holiday Dinner takes place Dec. 12 from 4-7 p.m. and anyone who has been connected with the agency, or hopes to be in the future, is invited.
The purpose of the event, which features turkey, ham and all the trimmings, craft activities for kids and photos with Santa, is to provide a safe and welcoming place for youth to come together and celebrate the Christmas holidays with a meal.
The dinner is at NYSA headquarters at 290 Bastion St.
