Workshops shine light on emotions

Nanaimo Family Life Association emphasizes the positive through a series of evening workshops.

The workshops run Mondays beginning Oct. 22 from 6:30-9 p.m. at 1070 Townsite Rd., and include: healthy self-esteem, Oct. 22; personal boundaries, Oct. 29; effective communication, Nov. 5;  assertiveness skills, Nov. 19; stress management, Nov. 26; managing anger, Dec. 3, conflict resolution, Dec. 10; and creating change, Dec. 17.

Nanaimo Family Life Association was founded in 1967 as a non-profit private society, the first family life centre to operate in B.C.

It’s mission is to provide support to children, youth, and families in the community.
