Young riders sought by club
Nanaimo’s mountain bike club wants to encourage young riders and is hosting an event Saturday (Oct. 6) to do just that.
Take Your Kid Mountain Biking offers the chance to practise technical skills, coaching safety and guided tours of local trails. Participants must bring their own bike, helmet and other gear.
The event starts at 11 a.m. at the motocross parking area, off Weigles Road. Please call 250-758-1120 or e-mail lvenables@shaw.ca.
