Brides, babies focus of showcases
Beban Park Social Centre will be a hub of activity Jan. 15 as Welcome Wagon hosts its annual baby shower and bridal showcase.
Moms, dads, parents-to-be, babies, other family members and guests are invited to take in the baby shower beginning at noon.
Moms, and moms-to-be receive a gift bag courtesy of show sponsors and can enter for the grand prize of an Eddie Bauer highchair from Toys ’R Us.
Dads and dads-to-be can enter the diaper-changing contest to show off their skills.
The bridal showcase begins at 6 p.m., proving information on wedding services available in Nanaimo.
Paris Jewellers is giving away a grand prize involving diamonds, and other door prizes will be up for grabs.
