Fundraiser helps toddler battle cancer
A Nanaimo fundraising event is helping a toddler in her battle with cancer.
The What Women Want ... Shopping Event features more than 30 vendors showcasing their wares and services at the Wellington Hall, 3922 Corunna Ave., Nov. 12 from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Admission is by donation and all the money collected goes to the MacDonald family, whose two-year-old daughter, Hayley, is undergoing chemotherapy treatment at B.C. Children’s Hospital for a tumour attached to her kidneys.
