Cedar shops celebrate fun day

Shop owners at Cedar Village Square are thanking customers for years of support with the 14th annual Cedar Fun Day.

The event runs Saturday (Sept. 10) from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and includes children’s games, live music, a dunk tank, bouncy castles, ice cream and hotdogs.

In conjunction with the fun day, 49th Parallel Grocery is celebrating its 14th anniversary and at 11 a.m., will send 14 pre-selected participants racing through the aisles hoping to fill grocery carts with $200 worth of groceries in under 49 seconds.

Cedar Village Square is on Cedar Road near the Wheatsheaf Inn.
