Weight Watchers issues challenge

Weight Watchers’ Walk-It Challenge aims to inspire Canadians to make exercise part of their daily lives.

The second annual event takes place in Nanaimo June 12, starting at the Running Room at Country Club Centre at 8:30 a.m.

Weight Watchers is partnering with the fitness experts at the Running Room, who will be hosting the five-kilometre walks at locations across Canada. The walking events are free and walkers can participate on their own or as a group.
