Environmental careers in spotlight

Careers in the environment is the latest free workshop offered by Nanaimo Youth Services Association’s Youth Employment Centre.

The workshop, for unemployed and out of school youth ages 15-30, runs Tuesday to Thursday (March 15-17) from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 290 Bastion St.

Along with meeting industry experts, participants tour related educational facilities and job sites, which present both entry-level and defined career options.
