A familiar face around central Vancouver Island is heading for the Lower Mainland.
Cori-Lynn Germiquet is leaving her post as president of the Vancouver Island Economic Alliance to become the executive director of the South Surrey White Rock Chamber of Commerce.
Prior to her work with the alliance, Germiquet held senior management roles in the Nanaimo, Power River and Red Deer chambers of commerce.
She won a B.C. Chamber Executive of the Year award and was a Canadian Chamber of Commerce Executive of the Year finalist.
Germiquet begins her new role May 16.
